What other factors can also affect the price of decorating a room?
Here we have made a small list of a few of the influences over the final price of your decorating work, please Contact Us if you have any questions, we will happily discuss any aspect of your decorating work.

  1. Excessive preparation work, filling, sanding.

  2. Stripping wallpaper and the associated preparation, such as neutralizing the old paste.

  3. Remedial works such as water damage.

  4. Surface preparation over poor quality products

  5. Apply paint to textured surfaces.

  6. Applying adhesion primer coats to areas prior to decorating.

  7. Ornate moldings or cornice such as Egg and Dart or keel.

  8. Removing furniture from the room prior to decorating.

  9. Excessive furniture remaining in the room while decorating

  10. High ceilings or difficult to access areas, often times they are large entrances, hallways or foyers.

  11. Multiple colours or those which may take more than 2 coats to cover, such as strong yellows or reds will typically take at least 3 coats to achieve a great looking finish.
